Susaan Straus is a management consultant, executive coach and internationally recognized speaker who specializes in organizational change and management team effectiveness. Her research with thousands of managers and executives in Fortune 500 companies has focused on the effect of cognitive preference and on the abilities of executives, managers and teams as they lead in a rapidly changing workplace. She works with individual leaders and with groups to achieve their organizational goals.
Prior to founding Performance Resources in 1993, she was vice president at CSC Index, the international consulting firm that coined the term, ‘Reengineering.’ She consulted, and led a business unit with an average growth rate of 25% per year. An experienced conflict mediator and process facilitator, she holds a Master of Education degree with a concentration in psychology and a post-graduate focus in the area of organizational behavior.
Straus has authored several articles on the subject of organizational development; the most recent appears in the July/August 1997 issue of the Harvard Business Review, entitled, Putting Your Company’s Whole Brain to WorkSusaan Straus currently leads Performance Resources, whose mission it is to elicit excellent performance in individuals and in organizations committed to growth or renewal. She works from her offices near Boston in the USA, and in Nogales, Chile.
